About the Course

Sweeter Life with Less Sugar

There are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of programs and challenges for reducing sugar intake, but most focus on short-term results. Our goal is to make those changes persistent; therefore, we are not advising you to make the changes all at once.

👉 Our focus is on reducing — not completely restricting — added sugars

When you adopt the healthier changes slowly into your lifestyle, they are more likely to become part of your life in the long run. Although the 7-, 14-, or 30-day no sugar periods carry a great purpose and benefit, these programs focus on short-term fixes, not sustainable dietary and lifestyle modifications.

If you slowly reduce your sugar intake over time, making these changes consciously and learning the reasons, then the chances are more likely to be permanent.

In the long run, your goal should not be to eliminate the consumption of sugar from your diet entirely but to adopt healthier eating habits in your everyday life, to minimize and balance the consumption of added sugars in your diet, and this way increase the healthily lived years in your lifetime.

So, how to take steps toward a healthier and less sugary lifestyle? And can you still enjoy the taste of desserts?

Let's take a step at a time, so your body and mind can adapt to the changes, and also, your test puds will be getting used to the new versatile tastes of sweets. So, yes - you can still enjoy the sweet flavors and pamper yourself with desserts from time to time. But let's take a look at how to do it wisely, not self-destructively, and in a healthier way.

Nutritional recommendations

Awareness and knowledge are the keys to making the changes permanent. It is easy to get lost in all the information out there as there are so many myths and miscommunication about healthy eating and - habits; therefore, we have gathered the main principles in one place so you can make good and informed dietary choices seamlessly on the go - if you have the knowledge, you will make the right decisions unnoticed.

The course content and nutritional recommendations are based on general recommendations. Most countries have developed their own national dietary and exercise recommendations, which may differ somewhat (based on national climatic conditions, the nature of the agri- and food industry, the general economic situation, and socio-political circumstances). The content of this course is based mainly on Nordic dietary recommendations and also general recommendations supported by many scientific researchers and may often be referred to as common knowledge (which may not be so obvious).

Enjoy the process and the result You will have! :)
